What you can expect at Welcome to Wollongong:

Special Welcome: Receive a heartfelt welcome from members of the University Executive, and the Wollongong Lord Mayor.
Community Connections: Get ready to mingle and make new friends as you connect with other international students.
Free Food and Entertainment: Afternoon tea will be provided whilst enjoying entertainment and activities. For those observing Ramadan, you are welcome to take some with you to enjoy later.
Engage with Local Community Stalls: Explore stalls set up by UOW and the local community, highlighting programs and resources designed specifically to support international students during your time in Wollongong.

Dress code	Smart Casual or National Dress
Transport	Parking is not available at Wollongong Town Hall, however, street parking is available nearby. We highly encourage the use of public transport. We highly recommend utilising public transport. You can catch the 55A Gong Shuttle, a free shuttle service, and disembark at the bus stop opposite the Wollongong City Library. For those travelling from Wollongong Campus, your Student Success Mentors will be there to assist you on your journey. Alex will be stationed at the 55A free shuttle stop at Wollongong Campus from 1:40 pm to 2:10 pm. Megan will be waiting to greet you at the shuttle stop opposite the Wollongong City Library, just a short walk from Wollongong Town Hall.
