During this session, we will systematically work through the Preparing your subject site for start of session checklist in an interactive and supportive environment.

Questions are encouraged and will be addressed both as the session progresses and in a dedicated Q&A section at the end of the workshop.

Consolidating, Curating and Creating your 2025 subject site

In this workshop, we will cover how to reuse elements from one or more existing Moodle sites in your 2025 teaching site. We will focus on the process of importing content and discuss the design decisions involved in consolidating multiple sites into a new, curated site. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

  • Consolidate an organised question bank drawn from multiple sites.
  • Import relevant activities and resources and contextual information from other sites
  • Structure and present the consolidated content on your new teaching site.

The goal is to help you efficiently build your 2025 teaching site by leveraging existing materials, while ensuring a cohesive and engaging learning experience for your students.

Completing the Subject Risk Assessment Form in SafetyNet

This practical session will guide Subject coordinators of placement subjects through the step-by-step process of completing the Subject Risk Assessment form within the SafetyNet system.

There will also be time for questions, giving you the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties and share insights with colleagues. 

Teaching students how to Complete the Basic Risk Assessment Form

This session is designed for Subject Coordinators and will cover how to teach students to complete the Basic Risk Assessment form at the beginning of their placement. You'll learn when the form should be used, what to cover with students, and how to guide them through the process effectively.

Setting up the WHS workflows in SONIA
