It's time to Get Started at UOW

The International Student Welcome Sessions are a compulsory event that will run weekly until Week 4 of Autumn Session 2024.

In these sessions you will find out all you need to know about starting your journey at UOW – including important student systems, enrolment assistance, support services on offer and beach safety in Australia.

It will also be a great chance to meet some new friends! Join us at our Welcome Sessions and find out how to catch-up on all of the important information you need to Get Started at UOW.

Your Get Started Checklist

  1. Attend an International Student Welcome Session – running weekly from prior to start of semester until week 4 of Autumn Session.
  2. Learn about UOW student systems
  3. Enrol in your course and subjects
  4. Create your timetable and enrol in tutorials (or classes)
  5. Organise your student ID card
  6. Get familiar with support services for when you need them
  7. Go on a Campus Tour
  8. Make some new friends!

International Student Welcome Sessions:

The International Student Welcome Sessions will run every week until Week 4 of Autumn Session. Please register for the session you are next available to attend, you will only need to attend one of the sessions below! 

Wollongong Campus International Student Welcome Sessions:
