More Info: Your Orientation Day is designed to provide you important information about your faculty and course, introduce you to key staff across UOW, and help you connect with fellow students in your faculty. Attending and making the most of your Orientation Day will help set you up for success at UOW.
Important Note for Alternative Orientations: Some courses commencing at UOW in Spring Session 2026 will follow a separate Orientation path.
This will be noted throughout your Orientation registration, and includes students studying their course online or via distance, or commencing a course in:
- Postgraduate Education
- Postgraduate Occupational Health and Safety
- Postgraduate Public Health
Students undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing will be required to register for and attend a compulsory online Orientation session, separate from the Wollongong Faculty Orientation Day. These students DO NOT need to register for the on-campus Orientation Day.
