It is essential that you attend your Orientation Day session (or alternative).

Important Info: You'll receive important information about your Faculty and course, meet and hear from key staff across UOW and connect with fellow students studying in your Faculty.  Attending and making the most of your Orientation Day will set you up for success at UOW. Each day will commence with Faculty Orientation from 9am-12 noon, with the O-Day Festival from 12 noon to 3pm.

Important Note for Alternative Orientations: Some courses commencing at UOW in Autumn Session 2026 will follow a separate Orientation path.

This will be noted throughout your Orientation registration, and includes students studying their course online/via distance or commencing a course in:​​​

• *Postgraduate Education through the UOW School of Education.
