The most important session for you to attend is your Faculty Orientation session. This is designed for you to receive important information about your faculty, course, meet and hear from key staff across UOW and connect with fellow students in your faculty. Attending and making the most of your Orientation session will help set you up for success at UOW.

Beginning your studies in Nursing?
If you are undertaking a degree in Bachelor of Nursing, your Orientation session will be online. This is for students who:
- are commencing their first year of Bachelor of Nursing OR
- are entering the second year of a Bachelor of Nursing with Credit for Prior Learning as an Enrolled Nurse with a completed Diploma of Nursing.
Orientation is compulsory and designed to help you prepare for the semester ahead.
We also encourage you to engage with the pre-Orientation webinars and, if you're located near the UOW Liverpool campus, attend on-campus Orientation events. These opportunities can help you build connections, become familiar with UOW, and start your studies with confidence.
